An intimate friendly place for you and your horse. In order to give your horse the best care we limit the number of horses we take in to 12. Our experience with horses goes back 25 years. In those years we've gained experience in all aspects from basic horse care, behavior, first-aid, handling, safety and feeding.
Free access to shelter, clean water which is heated during the winter and grazing. 10 of our 90 acres include laydown area with two round bail feeding stations and a three sided shelter. Two pastures for turn out Round pin Barn provides two stalls with walk outs for horses that need special attention
Natural boarding methods are based on the study of how horses live in the wild. We watch and take care of the horses in a herd but we treat and love them as individuals. We learn each horses personality and make sure they are mentally and physically happy and healthy.
Horses need to get out and stretch and raom the land with their herd. We have two pastures that we rotate for turn out during the day. The warm months we still provide hay access. All areas are close to main area which allows us to keep watchfull eye on them at all times.
Stockwood Ranch is a 90 acre playground for you and your horse. We have trails, a small fishing pond, spring fed creek and open pastures to enjoy.
